The Four Directions movement meditation is inspired by Sufi practices.
It is a sequence of breaths, gestures and turns to gentle music that washes you of contractions and leads to an increased openness and bodily ease.
I have been practicing this for 30 years and it gets better with repetition, yet I find there are always new aspects to discover and weave into the movements.
The current series of six sessions will be on Saturday mornings 8:30 to 9:30, starting October the 18th, 2025 at Copperdot Studio in Norwich (£10 per session). We will be moving/meditating outdoors if the weather permits.
